My name is Stephen Wellings and my father is a former Chindit who fought in Burma with the 7th Leicestershire Reg't 14th Brigade. I am interested in finding out as much information as I can about the operations of this Reg't and anything else.  Do you know of any useful links or helpful contacts?  I would love to see his name on an honour roll somewhere does one exist on the web?  
His name is Albert Wellings, he is 82 and I love him very much.  He is not well now and as a final gesture of love I would hope to pass on some information about his beloved regiment that I know would cheer him greatly.  Any information you could pass on would be very much appreciated.    Regards. stevemarie00@attbi.com
