A Review of 'The Stars' - Rev. Ev. Loseby ex-28th Jungle Field Regt RA:-

I am fortunate in having come into the possession of the book of poems 'The Stars' - an anthology of poems by real soldiers.

These soldiers have written from the heart and record almost every emotion possible.  These men rank with the great poets because of all their poetry is from personal experience.  One such contributor W. H. Slaney writes

"We will cherish all these moments
When once again we meet"

...a significant thought for all of us who survived.

Anyone reading this compilation of poems will immediately feel as those authors did as they wrote their words, experience their love, loyalty and sacrifice.  It is a book that will be treasured for ever and read over and over again.  I can thoroughly recommend it.
