GNR 1709729 JAMES STANLEY SHAW  - ROYAL ARTILLERY - James was captured in Singapore and spent some time on the Death Railway and also spent time in Changi Gaol although he was in Rangoon Gaol when he was finally released.  Can anyone help us with information on where James was and what his 'route through Burma' was - in which gaols etc he served.  If you can help in any way at all, could you please contact his son Pete on pjshaw@home.com
