My Grandfather (Major Tom Leech) was adjutant to Lt. Col. Tony Balden in 1944/45 and was a member of force 136. He has given me a model steam train which he tells me was used for training troops in how to de-rail supply trains. It has seen better days but I am very interested in finding out as much as possible about it. Mainly the maker as it appears to be hand made. If there is anyone out there who remembers using it at the eastern warfare school in Karak Vasla or can remember ordering it from England, can remember my grandfather or Tony Balden and can give me anything to go on I would be much obliged. My email address is edwin.leech@gilbarco.com  or my phone number is 01702330978. The train itself is approx 4 feet long including tender box and is painted green with the letters M R on the side.
