Hi,

I am doing a search for my Father for information and contacts that served on the H.M.S. Ranee. I came across your site  thanks to the posting from Len Mawby's request for shipmates. My father was in the US Navy and served on the Destroyer USS Hugh W. Hadley (DD774) in WWII. This ship escorted the H.M.S. Ranee across the Pacific from Washington to Pearl Harbor on 12 Feb. 1945. My father mentioned this to me this afternoon and being the proud son started my search right away. If you could direct me to any of the boys that served on the ship for details on their deployment and service I would greatly appreciate it. We have had a website up and running for a while and there is only a brief mention of the Ranee and we would like to expand on your ship as well.

My EMAIL at home is Kennye_00@Yahoo.com  or you can just reply to me here at work Thanks for you time Cheers Ken English (Yes, my real last name, family comes from Manchester and many relatives still there)
