BOB PARKIN
The Gloucestershire Regiment

Daughter Val contacted us with the following message:

Message:
Can anyone recall serving with my father Bob Parkin who was with the Gloucesters? I don't have any details but my brother was born in Burma (May 1940)and my mother was the last woman to leave the country as he was very ill. My father was awarded the Burma Star but my mother told me that he 'went missing' and would never speak about it. if anyone knows what happened to him in Burma I would be interested to know. He was posted to Korea in 1950. I would be very grateful to hear from anyone who knew him, thanks Val
