National Arboretum

The National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire, England is a special place dedicated to honouring all those people who have served, and continue to serve, the nation in many different ways.  This beautiful place of peace and remembrance has over 300 dedicated memorials which acknowledge the personal sacrifices made by the Armed Forces and civil services.

The Burma Star Association Memorial at the Arboretum (pictured below) is dedicated to all the men and women who served in the Burma Campaign 1941 -1945.   Each year the Association holds a memorial service there in May.

The National Memorial Arboretum is open to visitors every day from 9am to 5pm.  For more information, a link to their website can be found on our Links page.
