Ian Evans writes "My Uncle was (Edward) John Hamer who died at Bairagaigh POW Hospital (near Bhopal) of polio on 14 July 1942. He died believing he had no relatives and in honour of his memory I am helping my mother (his sister) understand more about him and his experiences. Does anyone know what the 7th batallion were involved in from Nov 1942 until Jul 43? Can anyone tell me anyhting about Bairagaigh?"  i.evans@blueyonder.co.uk
