WILLIAM HORACE COOPER
Gloucestershire Regiment

I am trying to find out information about  William Horace Cooper who was in the First Battalion (serial number either 4052252 or 5042252). He joined the Gloucesters in 1928 and left in 1950. During this time he was stationed in Egypt, Malta and the Far East. For a time in 1943 he was reported missing. For at least some of the time he was in Egypt and Malta he served as a military policeman. Apparently his adjutant was either called Cain or Crane. I hope this is of some use to anyone. Any further info or stories would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance. Andrew Wincott.
