The message I received was:-

Visitor's Name: Kai Khan Mang
Homepage URL:
You are from: USA originally from Burma
Comments: I am a US citizen, but originally from Burma. My father Sgt 50841 Thual Za Lang served under the British Army in WW II. He was called by the Lord in August 1995 but was able to tell me the story the time and date before he died.

He was recruited in 1939 and then stationed as a frontier force at Mergui and Moulmein. And then they withdrew to India, and he was a parachute troop at Ceylon now it is called Sri Lanka. At that time, he was in 2nd Burma Rifles. I saw Maj Hadley's picture with their company when they were stationed in Prome. Maj Hadley is still alive, if someone knows about him please let me know.

End of the war, he came back to Burma, and served under 2nd Burma Rifles until Burma's Independence. He continued in service under the Burmese government until 1960 as 4th Chin Rifles. He retired in 1960 when the Revolutionary Council stepped up.
