This is the Order of Battle of the Division at the beginning of the first Arakan campaign, which commenced on 21st September 1942.  When H.Q. 26th Division assumed command of the troops deployed in the Arakan on 7th April 1943, H.Q. 14th Division returned to India.  It assumed the role of an infantry jungle training Division, to train soldiers in the art of jungle warfare before they were posted to operational units in Burma.

1.      Came under command of Division from 5th Indian Division for the campaign.

2.      Battalion deployed on left flank of Division in the Kaladan Valley.
